“That Girl” Diary Series: Embracing Health, Empowerment, Love & Growth for 2025

Hey Tribe,

Welcome back to the That Girl Diary series on Iam-thatgirl.com! Here, we uplift each other, share our journeys, and embrace what it truly means to be That Girl—strong, empowered, and authentic. Today, I want to dive into a personal update that I think many of you, especially those balancing family, career, and personal growth, will connect with.

Taking a Break to Reclaim “That Girl” Energy

Recently, I decided to take a break from Facebook and Instagram. There’s so much pressure, stress, and expectation that comes with social media. Sometimes, we all need to step away to reconnect with our own priorities and reclaim what it means to be That Girl. As I prepare for a transformative 2025 in every area—spiritually, physically, with my kids, career, and love—it’s clear I need to focus on my own growth to handle everything that’s coming.

Prioritizing Health, Love & Wellness

This year, I’m investing in my health and in love, both for myself and others. Today started with my goal of intentional wellness—mentally, spiritually, physically, and in every part of my life. My morning was a mix of wellness essentials: oatmeal, a ham and cheese croissant, and a Chulilpa peanut butter and jelly protein shake. For tracking, I added supplements for cognitive support, anxiety, elderberry for immunity, cod liver oil, and a fat burner for energy. I’ll end the day with a detox vitamin to cleanse my liver, kidneys, and colon. While my diet wasn’t perfect today, tomorrow will bring more greens, a swim, a sauna session, and hydration. This journey isn’t just about looking a certain way—it’s about nurturing myself from within so I can bring my best self to my family, career, and relationships.

Family Growth & Letting Go as a Boy Mom

One of the hardest parts of my journey is letting my sons grow into their independence. Today, I decided I would help my sons move into their own space. It was a big step for them—and for me. There’s a part of me that wants to hold on and baby them, but I’ve been listening to the men in my life. They remind me that sometimes, the best way to love our sons is to let them take accountability and learn to be independent. They need to find their way, make mistakes, and learn to stand on their own. Letting go is tough for us boy moms, but empowering our sons to grow up is one of the greatest gifts we can give them.

Collaborate Over Compete: Supporting Our Tribe

In exciting news, Make Your Dreams Come True, our parent company, was approached by a major tech company for a potential marketing partnership. Our philosophy has always been collaborate over compete—working together to create opportunities for others. We’re also expanding our team by hiring instructors for our 49 after-school programs. Empowerment isn’t just about self-growth; it’s about creating a path for others to succeed.

What’s Next for “That Girl”?

This journey is just beginning, and it’s about so much more than just fitness or outer appearance. I’m working on elevating every aspect of my life—spiritually, mentally, in love, as a mother, in my career. Becoming That Girl means embracing growth, building a healthy diet, letting go, setting boundaries, and choosing empowerment.

Stay tuned as I continue sharing updates on this journey to health, love, and empowerment in the That Girl Diary series. Let’s keep inspiring each other, Tribe—together, we’re unstoppable.

You gotta take care of yourself first. You can't help anyone when you're sick. SELF -LOVE is something we as mothers and wives tend to forget. Love it and love you
