That Girl is Mogul: An Interview with Robin Kinnie

You are Mogul written by Tiffany Pham is inspiring women worldwide, including my hometown Detroit, Michigan. As I scrolled through my timeline sharing heart likes and comments on my Mogul Facebook friend's posts, BOOM!! I see this post by Robin Kinnie designed to encourage other mogul women to read this book.

You're not just a woman, the first sentence on the page stood out for me, my thoughts immediately recalled my first interactions with Robin and how she has evolved in entrepreneurship since I met her.

Robin and I were invited to a networking event organized in the city by Carlotta Tutt Holloway about 3 years ago, another Mogul in the city. With her business card in hand, Robin approached me with a bright smile and a charismatic personality. Hello, my name is Robin Kinnie, I'm Motorcity Woman's founder. From that moment on, Robin and I have seen one another around the city, supporting, celebrating, networking, empowering and progressively pursuing our goals alongside other women.

In fact, in 2017, we were both recipients of the Walker's Legacy Award which recognized Detroit Powerful 25 Business women amongst some of the most legendary women influencers in Detroit! Wowzer!!!!

It has been a pleasure to see Robin transform from a caterpillar to a butterfly in the Radio / Podcast industry in which she created a lane for herself in her own city.

Please take a moment to listen to the interview about how Robin Kinnie became Motorcity Woman Radio.
