BEING THAT GIRL partnered with Detroit Pistons and Detroit Phoenix Center

This is an annual event dedicated to fostering positive change and support for various aspects of the community, particularly focused on youth empowerment, mental wellness, and the well-being of underserved and vulnerable groups. This day is a collaborative effort that brings together individuals, small businesses, nonprofits, and the Detroit Pistons, all working towards a common goal of fostering love, unity, and positive impact. 

The key pillars of the day will include community engagement, youth empowerment, and overall wellness promotion, fostering community love, support for youth, including underserviced youth. Students, Youth, and Community from all of Michigan are invited to be including on this day.. The day also features a friendly community basketball tournament, leveraging the power of sports to unite the community and promote healthy competition.  Our goal is to celebrate the collective strength of the community and inspire ongoing efforts to create a more inclusive, supportive, and resilient environment for all its members, especially the youth. Through a combination of outreach, education, and collaboration, and resources this day aims to leave a lasting positive impact on individuals and the community as a whole.

The Youth Empowerment Fair, we will consist of Entrepreneurs, Professionals Community Leaders, Philanthropists interacting with the youth and Activities for the Youth. Robotics, STEM Activations, hair braiding lessons, face painting, fashion design, virtual reality, and more. Students and Youth will be provided lunch during recess and more. This is perfect
